ACL Laboratories provides the medical community with timely and accurate analysis of tissue and body fluid specimens. We provide comprehensive testing including:

With testing and laboratory sites throughout southeastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois, we have over 80 board-certified pathologists serving our clients through affiliation with Great Lakes Pathologists, SC and Midwest Diagnostic Pathology, SC.

Quality Assurance

An extensive quality assurance program is the backbone of both Cytology and Surgical Pathology Departments. All programs are accredited by the College of American Pathologists.

Cytology

ACL's full service Cytology Laboratory includes analysis of body fluids, fine needle aspirates, conventional Pap smears and ThinPrep® Pap smears. A dedicated team of cytotechnologists and pathologists are committed to providing accurate and timely results. Cytology reports may include up to eight of the most recent prior Pap smear reports, archived in ACL's computer system. Also a follow-up letter will be sent to physicians if a Pap showing high-grade dysplasia of HPV-related effect is not followed by a repeat Pap or cervical biopsy within six months.
